Lauren has a wealth of writing and editing skills in both print and digital media.
An experienced journalist, Lauren has written for The Boston Globe, The South Florida Sun-Sentinel, The Daily Herald, Fast Company Magazine, Make It Better Magazine, Chicago Parent Magazine, Dance Teacher Magazine and more. She also taught journalism to graduate students at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where she earned her Master’s degree in 2005.
As a former newspaper reporter, editor and online web editor, Lauren knows how to write copy that is clear and compelling -- and how to hit a deadline. She understands how the media thinks and how to pitch a story that will grab a reporter's attention. Her experience in business-to-business magazines taught her how to tailor a message to a specific audience for maximum impact.
Lauren also passed the AP Copy Editing Test, which means she has a mean eye for grammar and AP style.
